I have been out of the web-design business for quite some time.
When I was designing websites it was commonplace to use frames. Now it seems popular to use tables instead. I want to have a frame layout but use tables. I have seen many websites where there is a base page (menus and ads) and only a section in the middle changes with whatever information is being displayed from the link they chose. This used to be done with frames, but when I look at sourcecode it appears to be tablee.
I didnt think you could assign a name face value to a table like you did to a frame. Is this being done with PHP, or JS?
Any advice is realllllllly appreciated..
