Hello I have some pictures that are in an 4:3 format but have black borders under and over the picture like a widescreen on an 4:3 tv. I wounder if you somehow can use an <div> and have the picture in it and with the help of overflow hidden, hide the black parts of the picture.
you can do that, if you center the image in the div, and set the div width and height smaller than the image itself (cutting off the black edges)...
but wouldn't it be a lot easier to just crop out the black edges with any image editing software?
