Trying to sell a small business a website just to have one is a bad decision, and will generally turn into a jaded client
Like in anything you need to do what makes sense, and for some companies certain things just don't make sense - trying to give someone false expectations is also very crule. For companies that just need a presense and don't have the money, resources, time to invest in a proper approach I give them exactly what they need, which is advice on the absolute cheapest and least return option. You don't tell a small business in a niche market they need an overly exagerated website - they need simply a form of communication for them and potential clients. People do not like doing business with companies that do not have atleast their contact info on the internet. At the same time, the chances of a small business achieving high SEO with minimal $ is close to none - especially with no social media presence, online knowledge of content maintenance.
A proper online presence requires constant attention and development from prototype, deployment, maintenance and lab work.
I also don't approve of shameless self promotion, you're feeding on peoples inexperience - Miss.Daliah. Don't make fake testimonials on the forum. Stop being part of the problem, and atleast contribute quality posts with the site in your signature.. you're showing your lack of experience.
