After a great deal of thought I've decided on a site I'd like to write.
After many rubbish meals/takeaway food in my area, I thought how about credit where credit is due....and criticism for where it isn't!! The plan being that people in my home town, which ain't that big, can submit reviews of food they've had in restaurants in the local area. My first question is, is it legal for me to accept and effectively publish criticism (I'm fairly certain they won't object to praise!!) I'm aware that legal issues will depend on the country, so I live in the UK (Scotland). I'm hoping that people are allowed to criticise if they see fit....however, don't want to see myself sued by an irate restaurant owner!!!
The site isn't even started yet, but, in terms of bandwidth etc. can anyone tell me what sort of things I'm looking for in a host....this is something I'm really not sure of. The site is purely for fun and will be non-profit making - it's just an idea at the moment, but I'd like to get a feel for what I'm looking for in terms of web hosting before I start to get it off the ground.
Any thoughts/ideas, as always will be most welcome!
