I'm currently coding a website that plays HTML 5 audio when it loads.
My music is in .ogg format and I also have the same file in .mp3 format.
The problem is when I do this:
<audio src="sounds/start.ogg" autoplay="autoplay"></audio>
<audio src="sounds/start.mp3" autoplay="autoplay"></audio>
Chrome plays both files at the same time and it creates an echo.
Is there a way to hide the audio tag with the mp3 from non-IE browsers?
I tried using IE conditional comments and it did not work.
I searched for other ways and I found that I can use flash as a fallback...but I want to make things clean and simple.
