I have a small JScript that pops up a window displaying xxxx.html, with info about the site. It stores a cookie and checks to see if you've already seen the pop-up, so you only see it once and not each time you visit that page. If I have pop-ups blocked, Firefox has an option to "Show xxxx.html", which works. The other option to "Allow pop-ups for yyyy.com" doesn't work because the cookie is already set and doesn't pass the test.
I can live with that.
The problem is with Internet Explorer. It displays an option to "Allow once", which doesn't work; I'm guessing, as above, the cookie is already set and doesn't pass the test. Neither of the other options work - they are similar to the other alternatives in Firefox.
Is there an easy workaround for this?
