Hi! I have a page with links to PDF files. I was looking online for ways to prevent caching of the files and I saw and used:
<META HTTP-EQUIV="CACHE-CONTROL" CONTENT="NO-CACHE">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="PRAGMA" CONTENT="NO-CACHE">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="EXPIRES" CONTENT="Mon, 22 Jul 2002 11:12:01 GMT">
I was just curious, does the browser know then to also not cache the linked PDFs or does that cache disabling only work for elements actually on the page? Thanks!
PS, if it's the latter, is there a way to prevent caching of the PDFs?
