I need the user to click a button, and have a pop-up ask the user to input a word. How should I implement this? Pop-up modals are discouraged in mobile websites. I am not using mobile UI frameworks, but I have jQuery.
You either have to do a popup modal or just have a div which slides down on the page and appears, which is effectively the same as a modal.
now the mobile website is very popular to capture the word.
