I'm having some really big issues with a redirect of a Wordpress site. So the URL that the site should live is www.katietylerphotos.com. In the root directory I have a folder called Wordpress that holds the site. Essentially, there are two htaccess files. The one on the root, and the one in the WP folder.
I am getting all sorts of issues. When I go to katietylerphotos.com I get this... http://http//www.katietylerphotos.com/wordpress/
When I remove the double http I get http://www.katietylerphotos.com/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/wordpress/
I've search htaccess but am not sure what is happening. Please help!
In Wordpress, I also changed the SITEURL to http://www.katietylerphotos.com and that didn't work either. My database url lives at http://www.katietylerphotos.com/wordpress
Thanks in advance.
If you want to put all source files in a sub directory e.g. root/wordpress then you need your index file to be in root.
This then includes the main files from root/wordpress.
