i am running a small website on a apache thats using unique IDs to lead the user to specific content. These IDs are random. example: website.com/?l=abcsefghi1234
For several reasons we wanna achieve a linkstyle like the one used on reddit example : website.com/l/abcdefghi1234 (reddit: reddit.com/r/funny)
the problem i have is , that this request makes the server think i wanna access "abcdefghi1234" as a folder, which I don't.
All requests in the style of website.com/l/... should lead to the real folder website.com/l/ and the documents it contains. I found solutions using htaccess, but i could not get anything to work. Has anyone ever encounnted this or solved this problem?
