I'm revisiting this, originally i have a function, i think is call pdf.js that can read the file selected by the <input> and display it on a section of the page, it works ok, just ok. I'm rewriting the code and i'm tinkering again with this process. It seems to me that it is a much cleaner option to have an iframe displaying the pdf. I can, using jquery, put a file that sits on the server in the iframe. I can also get the name of the file that the user is selected. The problem is that that file has the "fakePath" on front of it. I feel i'm close to a cleaner solution.
What i would like to do is: take the "full" path of the file selected and put it on the iframe. Is it possible to do that?
Or a little longer, take the file that is selected without making the form submission save it on a temporary file either on the server or the client and display on the iframe from there.
Any ideas on hoe to do that.
