I'm beginner and I want to start web design by inkscape.
I tried to learn design from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cX9-vj5Ke-M
But my problem is that I don't know what I have to do after design (for .svg export file) to make that available in WordPress or anything else in web. I need some point to start it.
Inkscape is the best and professional vector graphics editor for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, entirely free software.
Firstly , you should know about Inkscape’s tools, such as canvas, rulers, and guidelines.
Create a grid layout inside Inkscape canvas. It can be a little bit tedious at first. But once you make it, you can always save it and use for other projects.
Following steps are here::
1) Set the Canvas Size - 1200x720px for the desktop version of the website.
Setting the canvas height and width (File → Document Properties)
2) Draw the Grid - Most common grid for desktop devices is 12 column 960px wide grid. Positioning the guidelines according to your need. To hide or show the guidelines, try clicking on the rulers.
3) Lock the Guides - To avoid misplacing, click on the lock icon situated in the top left corner beside the rulers and lock the guidelines.
