Good HTML Editor?

I need to formate a newsletter that has a few pics in it I change every day. I just upload the picture with FTP and change the link in the code.

I then send out with an autobroadcaster.

I just need something really simple but don’t want an online editor. Those drive me nuts. thanks!

@SempervivumMay 17.2018 — Just save the HTML and open in it your browser.

BTW: Sublime is $80, however there are free web editors available. I recommend Visual Studio Code.

@NogDogMay 17.2018 — I'm a VS Code user now, too. If you want to keep it simpler, though, Notepad++ (not to be confused with Windows Notepad!) is quite popular, and may be an easier lift for you if it's just a question of opening a file and changing a few image links and such.

@tamil96May 19.2018 — Notepad++ is one of the best HTML Code editor preferred by most of the users

@NullSecJul 15.2018 — Notepad++ is a good one some say its the best but yet I disagree but you can try Sublime great if you're new to html but if you're on linux then try Textwrangler.

@AlgoworksJul 16.2018 — Microsoft Visual Studio and NotePad++ are the most preferred ones. Apart from that, Bluefish is also a good choice as it gives a lot of flexibility to web developers.

@kanetailorJul 16.2018 — You can prefer notepad++

@AanchalKauraJul 17.2018 — Yes, Notepad++ is one of the best HTML Code editor. Use it.

@Frank62Jul 20.2018 — Have a look at Webuilder on https://www.webuilderapp.com/. It has all the functionalities that Notepad++ has, plus a lot more. Among which a projects organizer and a preview (IE/Edge and Chrome).

@PeterPan_321Nov 29.2018 — In addition to the very fine Notepad++, the old Homesite 5 Editor quirky but useful. Its a bit outdated and won't recognize a lot of newer CSS or HTML-5, so the auto-complete (annoying anyway) will be limited in use. Homesite was abandoned by the last owner (Adobe) around 2009, so you may need to hunt for 'crack" or "keygen" to activate it beyond 30 days.But as its abandoned this won't be an issue.

@isoft110Nov 30.2018 — Codepen is good online html, css, js editor. Try it.

@rootNov 30.2018 — @isoft110#1598425 no its not, you are putting your efforts in to the public domain that may not work, be private works, etc.

You need an editor on your PC or laptop or tablet.

All this cloud nonsense is getting out of hand, do people really understand what it is that they are just handing over? Think about it.

@NogDogNov 30.2018 — Closing this since (a) it's over half a year old, and (b) the OP hasn't posted anything since then.
