CSS Grid how to fix the block when scrolling

Good afternoon!
Prompt please as it is possible in the CSS Grid how to fix the block when scrolling for example, so that the top menu remains in place.
If the Grid is set to position: fixed, it “leaves” the page structure and it does not display correctly.
You can make it a separate div, but then the flexibility of the Grid is lost.
