. text search in javascript/jQUERY, how ?

Hi
I am new to JS. I also have an account with neocities.org.
They allow me to program my site in HTML+CSS+javascript/jQuery.

I have uploaded a 1 megabyte file of free-form UTF-8 text to my account.
I would like any visitor to my site to fill a simple text form and
search that file (using regular expressions, booleans, if possible).

The result of the search should be returned in a window or a frame, …
The result should include ONLY all the file lines that contain the search term/s.
(Hopefully the search term/s would be highlighted/colorized.)

Help !

@SempervivumJun 21.2018 — It would be recommendable to search the file directly on the server without downloading it completely. However this would require PHP. Is PHP available on your webspace?
