photoshop gone funny

Hi,

for some reason photoshop has gone a bit wierd on me, i loaded an image that was grayscale and now it doesn't seam to save images as good as they usually were.

What is the default resolution (when u do a new doc)

I think it might be to do with that

I also seem to get a boxwhenever i load an image to say it doesn;t have a colour profile. that to has been since the grayscale

You can either go to Image -> Mode -> RGB Color or when you open a new image make sure the settings are similar to the settings in the image I attached

thank very much for the detail.

For some reason the res had con down to 60 p/i :s so i dont know how that happened.
